Continuous hunting for the ideal cup of coffee began a few years ago when I was invited to a roastery in Brooklyn NY for a walk through, astonished by strong aroma, piled up burlap bags and the entrepreneurial spirit of the roaster inspired me and my wife to create Java Smugglers.

Why Java Smugglers ? 

Java bean has a fascinating journey, it has traveled the globe for centuries, being smuggled out of strict countries, stolen from royalty and has changed entire nations and economies. It’s remarkable how one small bean taken from tiny trees in Ethiopia could become the 2nd largest commodity traded in the world today. And now we set ourselves on the mission to smuggle hand selected coffee beans directly to your door.
